The Medicaid cuts aren’t scheduled to hit until after midterms, so it can be blamed on a later administration. Meanwhile, 2 years will pass, and they’ll crow “See? We protected your Medicaid!” We have two years to continue squawking about the upcoming devastation, so that the proper blame is laid!

If you have to pass a bill in the wee hours, you know it’s vile. The GOP is an evil empire, you should be ashamed to vote for them. If you voted to “own the libs”, it’s even worse. Your childish glee over it will harm millions, including yourselves. Way to go maga, you “win” again. But we all lose.

I’m not a pessimist, I’m a realist. The current GOP *always* does the wrong thing. Many were hopeful that this ugly bill wouldn’t pass, but I knew better. Their spines are long gone, because they are locked into the orange cult. 1/2

Prediction-Eventually one of the orange goons will literally threaten the lives of the holdouts, and the ugly thing will pass. What’s our response? I think revolution is the one thing left. How that looks remains to be seen.

If anything, those of us who spent last year warning everyone just how dangerous it would be to allow him back into office, were UNDER reacting.

The sleeper cell warnings are probably just to give cover to his ICE goons. Now they can be even more despicable, with no accountability. “Look over there, sleeper cells!” Meanwhile they’re snatching people off the street and throwing them into unmarked vans.

I came into Bluesky with such high hopes. I have thousands of followers, and interact with others. I post thoughtful content on a regular basis, but no one sees my posts here! About ready to give up. How on earth does a person get seen on this site without an algorithm?

Well, he did it. He started a war with Iran, by bombing 3 nuclear sites, with ZERO approval from Congress. He started a fricking war! Didn’t he promise not to? Wasn’t that one of the reasons maga gave for voting for him, no more wars? THIS IS WHY WE’RE SO ANGRY WITH YOU! We knew he’d do this. Ugh!!!

Some courts are standing up to him, stopping some of his madman policies. But here’s the thing, note my use of the word SOME. They’re flooding the zone, knowing that many of them will stick, even if some are stopped. His authoritarian regime is already here. 😡

Last night, they put an early lid on him for the day. When he goes dark, I always assume that they’re pumping him full of drugs, to keep his poor health at bay temporarily. It will surely catch up to his long-abused body at some point.

My deep gratitude to all of you who protested against our rotted pumpkin “president”. Finally some hope, after all of the horrible things that have happened since he took office! If we continue to rise against him and his fascist buddies, we can eventually defeat them. Keep going, keep speaking out!

His pitiful commie birthday parade was a complete bust, barely anyone showed up, all while costing the taxpayers MILLIONS. I love this for him! It shows his real weakness and lack of support. I hope the MASSIVE protests against him today really gnaw at him. He deserves ALL the grief.
