This report is a 200+ pages masterclass on how ingenuity plays a role in open source investigations.

TLDR: Collect evidence of munition remnants > estimate direction of origin > overlay to know where to look for launch systems > identify military units > trace back chain of command.

After watching dozens of ICE raid/arrest videos it's clear how smartphones change the dynamics in these situations: It's why faces are covered, why operations are fast-in/fast-out, and in many cases why agents show restraint.
