The changes in my brain's function vis à vis long form novels is real. I thought it was just my age (73), but surprisingly this thread actually gives me some hope.

And here I thought it was just me. I have been in a book group with a number of women friends for 20 years. I am finding it harder and harder to even *start* our monthly book now.
