Oh my there are some great adverts in the stamp book I bought today. I can't help but think that the last one was incorrectly included as it was in the part that only had philatelic adverts

These two (fugly*) stamps were released 60 years ago tomorrow so I guess it's 160 years of International Telecommunications Union now!

These two (fugly*) stamps were released 60 years ago tomorrow so I guess it's 160 years of International Telecommunications Union now!

Turnip is being a bit clingy as the weather has turned. That said she was AWOL until 22:30 yesterday which freaked us out and had me doing circuits of the neighbourhood with a bag of cat treats. Nothing makes you realise how daft your cat's name is like having to shout it whilst out alone after dark

This one was for the Carinthia referendum held to decide if the area should join the fledgling Yugoslavia or remain as part of Austria. Despite 70% of the population speaking Slovene 59% voted to stay in Austria. Still Austria now.

I've spent the last week and a bit knee deep in Dwarf Fortress. It is one of the most ridiculous games of all time. I love the gem mining and the random crap the game throws at you. I recently had a wereskink infestation. 'fun' ensued obvs.

It's been a brilliant day.
I divided them into topics then went though an online catalogue one topic at a time putting them into 5 year envelopes. When they're all done I'll go through the catalogue with each envelope and shove them into a stock book in chronological order
