I think it’s worth watching for exactly this reason. The racism is genuinely shocking. The film is predicated on explicit fear of black men wanting to marry (and rape) white women. The film ends with a bunch of “heroic” Klansmen on horses pointing guns at black people who are coming out to vote.

I dunno, German and Chinese tourists dress almost as poorly as American tourists. Almost.

It can be remarkable to see how such small details can affect an outfit: just a bit more room, a more interesting shape, and the use of natural materials. Combined with a better pair of shoes — even if they may not be cloud cushion soft — and you have a better summer outfit.
