The much loved eagle couple that nests in Big Bear Valley CA every year, Jackie & Shadow, laid 3 eggs. As they have the last few years, there’s a live feed of their nest. Last year, none of their eggs hatched. Let’s hope we can watch them welcome these eaglets.

The whole “echo chamber” thing is so ridiculous. I welcome honest debate and genuine discussion of differing ideas. I reject abuse and lies. They are mad that we are rejecting their continued abuse, just like a classic narcissist does when their victim stops responding and walks away.

I’m continually impressed. My feed is full of interesting and entertaining commentary and discussion…devoid of trolls and hateful rhetoric. In the other app I was constantly assaulted with things the algorithm knew I didn’t want or care to see. I have hope for #Bluesky. Let’s keep this up, please!

The best thing about #Bluesky vs the “other app” is my feed is not constantly trying to shove Christian Nationalist content in front of my eyeballs.
