I'm about to start this which I'm really looking forward to as I loved the Earthsea books as a kid.

I went to a book quiz at @bforbutterflybooks.bsky.social on Wednesday night and my team won! We got beautiful book-related tote bag prizes and I definitely snaffled the best one!

Master wearing a skirt you say? I'm not sure I'm ready for that, I've only just learned how to put on socks. FFS!

Hello! I'm just finishing this early Xmas present to myself and it's as hugely enjoyable as all the rest of @caimhmc.bsky.social 's Stranger Times series. Loving the cover art too!

Afternoon! I'm dithering between these two as I've just finished my last book and picking the next world to dive into is always the hardest thing. Ipp dip sky blue...

Hello! I'm just finishing the gorgeous Tales from Earthsea which was a birthday present and have Pachinko ready to go for my book club read.

Hello! Our library is closing for a refurb and they were giving away some old stock for free so I thought I'd pick one up and try this murder mystery by a new-to-me author.

Morning! Love seeing what everyone else is reading and getting ideas for future reads. I'm just starting this beauty after finishing All Fours by Miranda July (I shouted at the main character a lot but the book was good).

Hello! I'm currently reading this and so far spending quite a bit of time shouting 'stop being a dickhead!' at the main character but I've still got quite a lot of it left to read so maybe I'll stop before the end. Maybe.

Hello! I'm enjoying this rather sweet middle-aged romance from a new-to-me author. I'm trying to read more widely, including hugely successful authors that everyone else had already read.

Hello! Just about to dive into this to provide some colourful fun on this very grey, wet and windy day.

I'm enjoying this very much, especially since I think it might be the last discworld book I've not read yet (might have to check to be sure as I've been reading them in the order I've found them in the charity shop).

Morning! I'm just starting this for my next book club read. I like that it's based on a real all-female crime gang from the 1920s.

Hello! I'm reading this and it's not great. I don't think Sir Ken will be doing a star-studded adaptation any Christmas soon.

Hello! I've been very much enjoying the Rivers of London series and have got as far as this one. The only problem is I've only got the main books and there's all the novellas, short stories and graphic novels I want now!

Morning! I'm very much enjoying the Rivers of London books at the moment. I read the first one years ago and then completely forgot about them so now I'm rectifying that and reading the rest of the series.

Hello! I'm reading this which I'm really enjoying. It's made me want to find out more about Cyprus and its history. Shamefully I didn't even really know where it was or that it used to be some kind of British colony. I will also definitely be reading more by Elif Shafak.

Afternoon! I've just started this which is my book group's current read.
June 8, 2025 at 2:32 PM

Hello! I'm currently very much enjoying this which is the first thing I've read by Aliette de Bodard.
May 18, 2025 at 12:46 PM
Hello! I'm reading this fascinating book which I will definitely finish today so I need to get the next one lined up. Decisions, decisions.

We get lots of amazing books donated in our charity bookshop and this is my current favourite. I would never have guessed in a million years that this was a thing.

Morning! I'm very much enjoying this at the moment. The first 3 books in it are a re-read of childhood favourites but the fourth will be new to me. I've got up to The Tombs of Atuan so far.

Morning! I'm reading this and it's so incredibly good. I'm going to have to search out everything else he's ever written now.
