So, I teach phonics as a 2nd grade teacher & the program we use has learners use their fingers to “tap out” the sounds in a new word
I tell ya, I get a little shot of glee each time I tell the kiddos, “Elbows up!” as we prepare to tap a word out—& I think of our brothers and sisters up North. 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
