Yes! My adult children have voiced similar political views. They feel hopeless even. To me, it comes down to “the oligarchy won” 😕
Somehow, I keep coming back to John Mellencamp “nothing matters, what if it did”, in stark contrast to the optimism I had been able to sustain up until now.
