In preparation for a recent interview, I used ChatGPT to help me get into the right mindset, build strong narratives, and reflect with clarity afterward. I wanted to share how I used this tool to support my process—and how it helped me show up as my best self. Prompt 1: What makes you a unique and attractive candidate After spending time brainstorming all the possible questions an interview committee might ask, and crafting answers that artfully blend specific examples with general qualities and qualifications that reflect the needs of the department and position, this prompt was a great way to distill all that thinking into one cohesive value statement.
