Detroit-Chicago-NYC-London-NYC based. Not-for-profit Director of Finance, public school PTA parent, runner, cyclist, still trying for my first win at pub quiz night. Go Lions!
Have a friend who attended a well-known school for one year, he majored in partying. Now his daughter attends there and he is enjoying attending all the alum events. This is how I learned you don’t have to graduate to be an alum.

4. After I finish a book, I like to sit with it before starting another one. Usually that means one sleep.

Thanksgiving an older guy relative was “teasing” my teenage sons about girls running faster than them at the Turkey Trot. My kids just gave him confused looks. I then went on a rant about sexism. Wish I had this article then to quote!

Winter’s Bone is on my top 5 books list. Such a beautiful, haunting story. Heard Daniel Woodrell interviewed, such an interesting guy.

I have been incredibly charmed by him ever since he sweetly called Beyoncé Ma’am during Beyoncé Bowl.

That injury timeout followed by the Alzheimer’s commercial had this tipsy (one Prosecco) Lions fan sobbing.

My first time ever hosting Thanksgiving I asked my husband to strain the fancy gravy I had simmering. He put a strainer over the sink and poured the gravy down the drain.

Amazing, Daniel! So impressed with you.

Something happened. I'd turned off Gemini in my work Gmail weeks ago since it was annoying & rubbish. Yesterday I was working on a spreadsheet and the stupid Gemini box kept popping up, always offering to do something that made no sense. Just checked my settings, I had to turn Gemini off again!

Buzz, you are an inspiration! My friend and I are attending training this weekend here in NYC to learn what we can do in our community to keep our neighbors safe from this awfulness.

I was there too! Very funny, and I look forward to watching it all again on whatever platform.

I was shocked while reading Katy Tur’s memoir when she mentions living with KO. She was so young and he was not. And given their work situation it seemed a whole nother level of inappropriate.

Yes! I remember listening to an interview where Keri talked about her carpenter husband and the home he was renovating for them.

I immediately thought of her! Her book The Dirt Life ended my occasional daydream of ditching my city life and moving to a farm. Her sequel confirmed to me that neither my marriage or me could survive farm life.

As a NYCer who saw a man and his teenager son cheesing for a selfie in front of Epstein’s home and just this Friday night witnessed a dad take his teenage daughter’s pic in front of Trump Tower, I sometimes lose faith in my fellow humans.

Thanks for sharing! Our friend’s son’s girlfriend is a gymnast at a Big Ten school. She has a large social media presence and some product deals. I’m surprised this article doesn’t address the girl/women’s additional burden of creeps in the comments acting as if it is OnlyFans instead of Instagram.

My older son learned to read at a London school, used the same methods I used as a kid. He is a great reader & speller. My younger guy learned to read in NYC using the crappy system. His spelling is awful & he isn’t much of a reader. So many parents asked the principal to change method, she refused.

I'm watching NFL Live now and was about to type that you all look very cold. But now Ryan has joined you at the desk and he is hatless and looking unbothered.

I am so disappointed. Our democracy is in crisis and we need strong leadership to fight against this. You gave up.

Please delete this for the sake of my lovely former coworker Denise. Nearly 30 years ago she told me she was shocked, hurt and disappointed by her fellow American classmates and co-workers who assumed she had grown up in a shack since she was from Jamaica.

When NY1 was showing footage of her this morning, she was speaking behind a podium with Trump printed large on it. I was wondering if she will distance herself.

So Tr*mp was half right with his crazy percents, just in the wrong direction. I am so sorry and thanks for sharing.

I stayed up late to do that math. Wanted Cuomo to know he would have lost no matter what.
