Finally! One went up on the swing! Either Chicki Minaj or Yolko Ono…they both look the same when wet, but Yolko Ono was the only chicken to go on a swing but that was long ago, with her sister who was taken by a hawk, and she hadn’t touched the swing since. Chicki is a blue silkie, Yolko is black.

Transforming a woodland landscape requires patience. I have a vision and it’s slower than my memory can catalogue. Sometimes I plant a bulb where a rhizome was placed last year 😣 but also something grows that I forgot I planted. I am trolling the woods for ferns I can bring in closer. #zone5

Finished the statement wall in the bedroom. I 3D printed topographic tiles of Maine and some Canada, and New Hampshire White Mountains. It came out lovely. Can’t wait to try the 8-color printer I have with the same idea but earth colors. ISO recommendations for ocean floor topographic data sources!

major camera/telescope issues. Missing connectors, eyes are terrible, couldn’t focus on moon, it moves so fast through the sky. Going to get tracking working, a better camera permanently on the 🔭 & laser eyes bc using phone is a nightmare😫

It’s hard to really show the color which is a rich peacock blue, but I have 1 coat of The Real Teal by Behr on the first row of wall tiles I am 3D printing. 7x7 tiles of the topography of Maine (and Canada).

Inside 1 of several hollow trees amongst the 12 felled for sunshine and storm damage prevention. These cute critters have taken over the chicken coop and I have too much going on to deal with them so harmony it is. Please don’t be diseased, little guy!

The flock is getting along so well now. Theres less upheaval and Gus is keeping Gwen & Gladys in-check as they tend to be the mean girls. The shift in the dynamics of the flock is so apparent and for the better.
