Life at a startup moves fast and you never know how fast until your coworker gets a transfer and she starts on Monday needs to transition to you by Friday and you send in your resume to your boss to have a background done so you can become the office manager. That’s how my last 24 hours has gone

I hate this once a month I got through a roller coaster of emotions. Where I think everyone hates me and I’m gonna lose my job. I know it’s not true but I’m already in semi emotional spiral when I realize 😭😭😭

My coworker is transferring departments and while it will be sad to see her go and I take over at the reception desk alone. I’m excited to see what’s to come.

I out work my coworker that is a fact. 3 months of her leaving me alone allowed me to thrive in my position. Now she wants to help but I’ve got this down. She’s got a group chat with other coworkers and today has been an Actually Romantic on an endless loop in my head 💅🏼

Is it really that terrible that I put away 2 pallets of snacks? Like the women at work were like “just let the boys do it, I can’t believe you did that” the boys did help with the soda part but come on we work at a start up and I’m def not above doing the hard stuff

Living in socal and being very close to dodgers fans is funny. After game 1: it’s a 7 game series. After game 2: fuck yeah go dodgers. After game 3: hell yeah let’s goooo. I can’t wait to go to work tomorrow to hear it’s a 7 game series again.
