Going back through old data and dashboards and found this guy: OP Mainnet median cost per transaction (gas fee) over time 📉

People forget where we came from to get to Ethereum L2s today
Chart of OP Mainnet's daily median gas fee from the first block (June 2021) to present day (November 2025). We see the median fee start around $1, peak at $6, settle < $0.050 through mid-2024, before falling to $0.01 and less in Mar 2024, following the EIP4844 Ethereum upgrade.
