Am I weird because I want to eat alone sometimes? Without the dog begging, or my husband/kids barging into the kitchen to ask me questions while I have a mouth full of food? Sometimes I will grab something after work and eat in the car just for some peace!

I saw an elderly gentleman today, in a motorized wheelchair, multiple American and Trump flags on the back of his chair. Couldn't help but wonder what will happen to him when all of his gov't assistance is taken away.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Yeah, I think algorithms aren't great, generally speaking. Amazon rarely suggests items that I actually want, music apps choose shitty songs for me, and people are being radicalized by Facebook, etc.
I think it's interesting and instructive that Threads has been overrun by liberal election fraud conspiracies and Bluesky just... hasn't. (h/t @taylorlorenz.bsky.social)
