Terrapin Station by the Grateful Dead - cohesive, all works together without quite being a concept album.

Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.

Apollo 18, by They Might Be Giants, but only if you can put it on shuffle mode. It has these clever snippets that fit perfectly between the actual songs.

Yes, they came out when I was younger - but it was more about what they could do. Hot Wheels could race down tracks, and we could all combine what we had to make elaborate courses. Matchbox cars, by contrast, were just for playing with.

Nice flavor balance, between the tang of the sourdough and the earthiness of the flour. Nice crispy crust and soft crumb; mostly small bubbles, with a few medium-size ones.

His new name is Max - didn't realize until after we picked the name how much he looks like the dog from the animated Grinch...

The Rouge de Bordeaux also brings a bit of spice and nutrients.

I'll probably try this again, but will knead it more, and work it more when I shape it. Might even bake it in a loaf pan.

This one is really good with jam - more so than it would be as a deli sandwich.

This was an experiment; I let it do its first rise on the counter overnight (mostly because there wasn't room in the fridge). The flavor is amazing; the starter was very mature when I used it, so there's a fruity note to the flavor - and both a sweet and sour aspect to it.

Having a bunch of people die, or even just stop voting, could tip Texas into being a swing state, at least for statewide and national elections. If Republicans lost Texas, they'd never win the electoral college.

West Texas is a Republican stronghold, but Texas Republicans can't afford to lose those votes, as the balance of power is pretty tight in the state, despite all of their gerrymandering and voter suppression.

Really good flavor; I did an overnight bulk ferment in the fridge, which gave it a very complex flavor. Very rich, with notes of nuts and spice.

It spread out more than I'd have liked - was hoping for a more vertical oven spring. But overall, a good loaf with great flavor.
