Just started Parenti’s Inventing Reality. so relevant!

So we either go bankrupt getting treatment which creates new problems and certainly doesn't help our wellness, OR we refuse treatment and suffer because we can't afford it, OR we fucking die. No matter how you square it, they get rich and you still suffer. The end.

We are unwell, we don't have access to the things that could make us well, then we get sick, we have to pay to find out what's wrong with us. We then find out what's wrong with us and can't afford treatment.

When you have to pay out the ass in order to even find out what's wrong with you, is it any wonder people don't pay attention to their health?? We can't fucking afford to.

Right? Decades of lies and obfuscation, increasing by the minute. Literally everything the government says gets an immediate side eye from me.
