Yea this is the best damage dealing, and if you can stay aggro after his three charges you can sometimes delay the summons a bit

I lost ~30 times with my first build. But switched to thread storm and the three thrown pins to easily take out the little bugs. the magma bell also obv really helps, and the barbed bracelet if you want the 2x incoming/outgoing damage. I also found if you stay aground he doesnt summon as much
