I think more Californians need to understand when they say "cut MEDICAID" that is the program known as MEDI-CAL. Heath insurance that helps cover kids, seniors, disabled and other Californians who qualify. It's federally funded healthcare that we receive in CA.

When I had private insurance I used my limited income on things that were more important than my health buying diapers, formula, food, putting gas in my car to get to work to keep my private insurance. My MS progressed quickly in those years because cost was a roadblock to healthcare access.

Dang, I was checking my spam folder for something and just found out I missed out on a 17 million dollar inheritance. I could have really used that.

I had a $40 copay today that *luckily* will get applied to my $6700 max out of pocketcosts! $6660 to go!
