And yet democrats in all their disarray are still 100% better than where we’re at under MAGA. Unify with one giant objective: democracy, and work out differences after we win like the level headed fair minded people we should be.

We will vote. I remain optimistic. But it isn’t going to be easy. None of this is. Every day I fight feeling defeated. Defeatists are the inactive because “it” hasn’t affected them yet. I’m being proactive because what hurts another human hurts me. 🫶🏻

I will print this out and place under my classroom flag! And then talk about its meaning - a yearlong lesson can come out of this. A lifelong lesson….
