Living with MS and turning to art as a way to stay sane.
Can the politicians stop talking about themselves and how brave they are now? FFS, let the survivors talk.

I am supposed to be calendar planning for the start of the school year next week. Instead I am🌱🌬️🌿🌀 in my backyard mapping plantings for next spring. I'd say my priorities are SPOT ON. 🌻

Life on a Monday in August may seem normal enough. And yet the reality is "We have a consolidating dictatorship in our country." I so appreicate @maddow.msnbc.com describing the simple reality clearly. It does us no good to pretend it's not real. The only question is what we do about it.

Woke up with a lower back that feels like a wishbone being pried apart, so no protests for me today. Pivot.
If all I can do today is sit, then I will do it outside, staring at something green.

It's been a rough week - July has been too hot/muggy/toxic to be outside for any real stretch, and I am feeling it in my fiber. Glad I was able to get out and visit the blooms for a bit today. They help stave off the mental ick when conditions aggravate my MS.

When I was coming to terms with my diagnosis, I realized that if I lost the use of my hand, I would miss art and earth. So I am throwing myself into gardening and art and hoping they help me stay afloat.
