Seems odd that the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live brouhaha is happening on a Sunday. Is there a metaphor I missed?

I have been on bluesky for a total of 6 hours and I am mainly being shown photographs of mushrooms and wild birds so yes this is much better.
