My only problem with Wicked is that I kinda don’t feel like they are two best friends at the time they go to Oz. I don’t know if it’s different on stage but after popular they are shown kind of close to one another but not enough that I truly believe it. Maybe I’ll feel different on my 2nd watch

So the musical Wicked is 2 hours and 45 minutes with a 15-intermission. The first Wicked movie is 2 hours and 40 minutes and is supposedly the first act. How?
I guess there is cinematography and stuff that extends the run time but it's just kind of crazy and I wonder how long part 2 is going to be.
