They proceeded to grab a marker out of their pocket and … draw a face on my hand. “There, now I really can talk to your hand!” they announced proudly.

I find this extremely helpful. I never thought I’d have to clarify this, but these are WARNING SIGNS, not an instruction manual!!! Not that you would know that, because … oooof. A lot of these are checked off …
