That time an urban planner took her son to the movies, and while he saw a cute movie about talking animals, she saw a movie about redlining, discriminatory, zoning, and gentrification #movies #filmsky #disney #disneysky #zootopia2

Would have I end up having this conversation with my dad if not for this movie outing? Yeah, probably… Eventually.

But this is how it went down for me. So this movie will always be special in my heart because of that memory.

And Dad and I will always be bonded by cinema, and pancakes.

Watching Swingers #filmsky

Okay, story time thread 🧵. In 1996, I was in a really bad place. One of the lowest points in my life. I had to move back home, I had no choice.

One late evening, my dad told me “get dressed, pumpkin. We are going to a movie.”

#nowwatching The Roses. I think it's a modern remake of War of The Roses, but I never saw that one. It's good but dark. Thankfully my marriage and divorce wasn't this dark. At least I hope it wasn't #movies #filmsky

Everything that could have gone wrong this morning did. From multiple tech issues with Zoom, to my client being unaware of my filing on their behalf, to the newspapers refusing to cancel my legal ad.

But, sometimes that's just how it goes. Sun is still shining. I'm still on the right side of soil

Review of week:
1. Claim Tylenol causes autism ✅
2. Act like a toddler trying to pronounce acetaminophen ✅
3. Tell pregnant women with fevers to stop being a bitch and suck it up ✅
4. Cross fingers this distracts people from the fact I'm a pedophile and the Epstein files that implicates me ✅

A24 has been pumping out some really good movies the last couple of years. Death of a Unicorn isn't one of them. Very clunky and uneven. I feel like they couldn't decide if they wanted to be comedy, thriller, or horror. Instead its a mish mash of each, done poorly. 2⭐ #filmsky

Directors and managers in the Federal government are now allowed to recruit and pressure subordinates to convert to their religion, but using terms like "climate vulnerability" or "equity" are forbidden.

I'm fine having been fired by Trump and Musk.

Sun dress season has arrived! Full on mom mode engaged. Took my son to the harbor for fish and chips and to watch the boats. Now some playground time, hanging with other moms on the "mom benches" with iced lattes in hand!
