Censoring a story about the outsourced regime gulag is not consistent with freedom of speech. But it is consistent with the belief that “free speech” is when conservatives can say what they want and when you can say what they want.

i know one view is that "they don't intend to lose power" but i honestly think this gives them way too much credit.

Weiss objecting to the word “migrant” so hard that she spiked the piece is a perfect example about how “anti-woke” “free speechism“ ends up being reactionary censorship

Two days before the show was to air, Weiss suggested revamping it, including adding interviews of Stephen Miller, whose personal contact information she has (of course). Also objected to calling migrants migrants.
