You got your kids to watch all of Buffy, angel, and firefly with you?! The dream imo

(I say idealized retelling because the whole story is told by Ted through his POV, and he obviously wants his kids to think he and Aunt Robin should naturally be together now)

Robin and Ted are not a match. I actually very much dislike that they end up together. They’re not romantically compatible, even in Ted’s idealized retelling of the HIMYM story!

He/I uses a cream cheese/sugar/butter/vanilla icing. By far the best way!

I’ve tried a lot of different recipes over the years — some with sugar glaze, some with orange zest, others with cardamom and various spices —but by far the most successful and loved are these very classic ones from BA: www.bonappetit.com/recipe/cinna...

Somebody in her group found eight shark teeth!! I won’t say who to save the others from embarrassment in finding NONE

THERE IS NO TIME FOR LITTLE JOKES WHEN THE LIVES OF HYPOTHETICAL KITTENS ARE AT STAKE. HAVE YOU NO SHAME!?

Not sure how old you are but one of my strongest sports memories came a couple years later when the cats were absolutely hosed in a finals game against Adelaide. I stayed up late to watch us lose late on a bogus referee decision. Nothing in sports hurts more than a bad loss when you’re a young kid!

Go cats! I moved to Melbourne in summer of 1995, a great year for the cats, and couldn’t help but jump into the team headfirst (as a bandwagon 8YO who also loved cats). Passing my love for the sport and team on to my son through this shirt 😂

I feel the same barb 😭😭

I just got back from two nights in the woods with my 5YO. Exhilarating but exhausting! It’ll be fun — just take lots of pillows and good walking shoes! (But also, so many thoughts and prayers)

The girl was right! She knows what her dad’s interests are

No need to be obtuse. First, a five year old can definitely be involved in deciding what to get their friends. And second, if not directly involved in the buying process, then these friends must talk about Lucy’s son a lot at home (and the parents pay attention), demonstrating close friendship

Unhinged replies!! We are so back to the good days

there’s nothing quite like Pavlov-ing yourself!

This was so good and honestly a little eye-opening for me as a person who had a SAHM when I was growing up. And this part made me tear up a little, so important to keep perspective on what our kids are going to remember and treasure in the future.

It is insane that in a time in which we are cutting the majority of scientific research that has actual value in the lives of people and animals on Earth, we are spending billions and billions to do a bunch of stuff in space

Thriving is a biiiiig stretch! I just *cannot* prepare another meal this week 😅

Unless you’re an Elon Musk defender! But that’s different because Elons genes are *so* good that he must produce as many male children as possible.
