Yes, strong foundational thinking skills are essential yet critical thinking doesn’t develop by accident - must be taught with intention. AI is already part of our world - scholars need guided practice working with it so they learn to question, verify, and think deeply with and about the tool.

This is such a great way to say it! I see AI as a tool/collaborator to support learning/growth. I’m invested in preparing my students for the world they’ll be running. 🤓

The first thing that blew my mind was the number of tools available that can do things that I never even thought were possible! There is so much to digest that I need to process and come back with a summary of some sort…

That is the hope! Working directly with our students is the most important task we as educators engage in. I am excited to see what the future holds.
