The latter looks immensely better than the former IMO. The first has an overproduced, glossy veneer to it.
The Thing (and subsequently, the Thing 2) looked better with practical effects, however when they added a layer of CGI over the Thing 2, it made it look worse.
Our eyes don't need that much.

10 seconds of googling confirms it's a real fucking person that is just really into AI, but this person not only has spun an alternate fact but is also trying to convince someone else of it

My third and fourth #miniatures for #Warhammer40k - I did a wash on the fourth one and it made a difference.
I believe I found out the grainy texture is because I was spray painting outside in a humid environment, plus the white is clumping a bit. Learning as I go!

i hate that when i look at art, all i see are shapes (and i love that) but when i make art i cannot process in shapes because i think it's somehow unfinished make it make sense like i stare at this image so much and i LOVE it but i could never but I WANT to how do i do this ahhhhhhhhhhh

Second attempt at a #miniature ! I think I did a better job this time - I definitely thinned the paints better (but still not thinning them quite enough) and got more control over my brush. This is a fun way to lose a few hours.

I painted my first ever #miniature and had a blast. Definitely need to work on my brushwork and found out I was thinning paints wrong halfway through lol
