Trick arrow enthusiast. Other stuff too.
I *may* revert to a perpetual licence version when my subscription expires, but it was liberating to find that with 365 I could download just Word and Excel from the Mac app store and completely avoid OneDrive. Hopefully someone will smack MS and insist Classic be an unhidden option before then.

I've never seen any of this nonsense, even before I checked to make sure CoPilot was firmly switched off in Word, but then I disable all the diagnostics and "connected experiences" stuff in the Privacy section of Preferences as a matter of principle.

Certainly. I kind of regret placing my event Sim in one now, but it was supposed to be a quick and easy setup of a Sim I didn’t care about. Now of course they've decorated and I don’t really want to move them if I can get through the scripted events without. If I get stuck I send them travelling.

No mods on my event save/computer, and I was originally missing the option to ask an elder about shards while my Sim was at her apartment in San Myshuno. Sent her to travel to Henford-on-Bagley and to introduce herself to Agatha Crumplebottom, and the option appeared as soon as she’d done that.

As a Mac user I understand the likely reasons why we didn’t get this, but wish EA could partner with Aspyr to give us an update with ProMotion support and our missing packs. Viewing the promo was wonderfully nostalgic fun though, and I’m sorely tempted to set up a Bootcamp partition again to play.

Lovely. Though it does need something about reticulating splines…

Yes. TS4 is on an up to date Mac. So maybe I’ll run Origin on the Mojave Mac one last time for my Sims to swim in the ocean, then resign myself to only having the broken 64-bit version elsewhere. I don’t expect the Aspyr stuff to last forever either - App Store certificates will expire eventually.

Sigh. Not that I use it very often, but my older iMac has been sticking with Mojave for the Sims 2 Stories games, a version of Sims 2 that doesn’t have flashing blue trees in hood view, a SimCity 4 that will export hood terrains that Sims 2 recognises, and a Sims 3 with working water interactions.

I’m thrilled for the alarm clock. Every time I decorate a bedroom after a break from the game I go looking for them and then remember that no, Sims 4 doesn’t really do alarm clocks. Even if it’s only deco I’ll be happy.

I’d particularly like more coordinated hairs, so if I want my long or medium length haired Sim to put their hair up, plait it, or wear it loose with different outfits, they can have the same fringe, side or centre parting with each style.

And yes, more eyelash and body hair options.

Elders, because I want walkers and walking sticks. And maybe throw some more hobbies in there for them? Travel van/road life, for a VW camper van, maybe throw bands in there for the touring aspect as well as for family holidays? Third is a toss up between coastal landscapes and criminal underground.

An ex-rotational player. I rotated like crazy in Sims 2, had spreadsheets and everything to keep everyone on the same day and rejoin from Uni just right. In Sims 4 I just build a new household to explore a new world/pack and stick with it. I guess I still rotate *saves*.

Same here. One parent is blonde, the other has dark green hair. One kid came out with black hair, which just looked wrong. I assume they’re thinking of it as hair dye, which is why the exotic colours are Teen+, but - as with my family who have green skin - that’s not necessarily the case.

Her favourite place to lie is the corner counter in the kitchen. For some reason the game doesn’t seem to register small appliances for routing purposes when they’re positioned in a corner, so basically she was inside the pizza oven. Which caught fire, obviously. There’s a rock under it now.

This was Meringue, my first mini sheep. Brother to Creme Brûlée (cream), Rogon Josh (brown), Licorice (black), Marzipan (cream), Mocha (brown), Blackberry (black) and Marshmallow (white). I may have had a bit of a food/colour theme going...
