So different than our American Robin. It's part of the thrush family. The European Robin is part of the flycatcher family. I just looked that up, so your photo helped me learn something new today!

Apparently the Victoria area is avoiding the colder air so far this winter. I expect to see more early bloom if we don’t get a freeze. Is CR having a “normal” winter?

Every time I see a male Wood Duck I always think someone was having a field day in the makeup aisle at the Bay! They are very showy indeed.
