We are in the New Forest and it’s like a mega fauna safari here. We’ve seen deer, donkeys, ponies and these piggies by the roadside .

I am in Dorset today. We are staying in this barn while the husband does a cookery course for people (men) who no longer work quite as much as they did. I am about to walk the dog and risk being blown away.

Mine is a Mary/Nigella hybrid which I’ve now gone and burnt. Should have put it on the BOTTOM of the oven. I’m still figuring out the Aga.

Took a pic of Nigella’s Christmas Cake from her Feast book, which I adore, to order all the ingredients up here from Waitrose and bake the cake in our Aga but I didn’t photo the method so I’ll have to go with Mary Berry’s instead.

Today I went to the opening of the first phase of mainly social housing new build townhouses in #Beckenham. Project planning started in 2015, with the last phases ready by 2034. Accessible and energy-efficient, they were also very pretty. It can be done. This kitteh has already settled in
