Can I watch it anywhere?
March 8, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Oh no. After this, the word quantum has lost all meaning.

Well, I guess that's not much change to before then :)

See, I would have gone with "Fuck Space Nine".

Ryan, I value your work on WOTR a lot, but what would just taking it do? The US right now will use any means to extort you. If you give in today, they will take even more from you tomorrow; give a finger, lose an arm. Better to draw a clear line now than to lose it all bit by bit anyways.

The visualizations of complexity classes are really just for human comprehension, they have no mathematical reality to them. Each class of problems has its own definition, and some problem fall into multiple classes.

So there is no border between P and NP, and P and NP-complete are either equivalent, or there are NP problems "between" them.
February 8, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Complexity classes don't work like that. They are sets of problems discrete problems.

Also, P is fully contained within NP (as is NP-complete). The question behind P vs NP is whether P=NP=NP-complete, or not. If not, there are NP problems neither in P no NP-complete.

OMG this is great. Please talk to the guys at Jet Lag to play a season, I'd watch that :)

Sadly, it looks more and more like the Democratic party has been captured by the billionaire class just as much as the Republicans. It has accepted an existence of legitimizing the right by maintaining the illusion of an opposition, and in exchange they get to enrich themselves and their donors.

If you are in a hotel, it probably has laundry service, right? They also often provide extra fast service if asked for emergencies like this.

Currently reading "The Gutenberg Parenthesis" by Jeff Jarvis. It looks at the age of print - the five centuries since the invention of the printing press. An era which is exceptional in history. An age of a global worldview shaped by the authority of the printed word - and how that is now over.

Russia and China will continue to ramp up their sabotage campaigns and will sever many more undersea cables leading to issues for the internet at large. (The West is more susceptible with US and EU being separated by a body of water).

Just finished that last episode, have to admit I teared up a little. Cinefix Top 100 is always one of the highlights of my week, and in no small part because of you, @asted.bsky.social.
You'll rock whatever you do next, hope to maybe see you pop up as guest on the podcast every now and again. <3
