I believe courage is easier to access when you're training yourself as if you are actually going to battle. Fortify the body, mind and soul. We need to give the young a reason to hope.

The political craziness in the U.S. has reminded me of a period of years where I was shocked and appalled by the obvious corruption in our government. I needed to take a look back and I found this film. Oh boy. If you haven't seen it, it's available on Amazon Prime. I know..Bezos. 😬

Just about every day I've seen deer lately. These two young deer and their mom have been coming around since they had spots. I have a tender place in my heart for these creatures doing their best to exist in a world of automobiles and dogs and humans.

For me, unpacking childhood trauma and grief, was the path to self-acceptance. An honest look at our behavior and emotions and repeated struggles, will often point to the beliefs we grew up with about ourselves that aren't accurate. It's not an easy path, but it's worth it.
