A week or 2 ago, an unprecedented number of Teslas were sold, amounting to millions in rebates. I hope they’re investigating.
I disagree with people targeting and vandalizing Teslas. Elon could care less, it’s punishing the wrong people.

Same goes for Canadians. Many seem to confuse “gun regulations” with “guns banned”. Last I checked, USA was 7th for gun ownership globally and Canada was 8th.

No as individuals we’re not the system, but we’re telling the system that we’re not going to sit back and accept the status quo and that they better start making some changes. It’s no longer just PoC “complaining” like they used to imply.

More than one police department has been convicted of misconduct towards PoC. Some officers/depts have been fired, fined or jailed.

I get that. An example of things Montreal did to curb racial profiling. Police are no longer allowed to stop someone without cause. We now have an independent dept to investigate police misconduct and it has in the last few years held police accountable.

I’m against all religions. For those reasons. They exist to control the masses and justify their atrocities. Ex; The colonization of North America was justified by religion. Religion has caused nothing but division, death and destruction.

And if you believe it hasn’t helped, why were there so many WP participating in BLM protests? Bc we realize in order to see real change, we must participate. Same thing with Palestinian protests.

Well I’m Canadian and it has to a large extent had the desired effect here. We all grew up with different PoC’s and were friends. In the USA they stay more separate.
Bc we have friends from diff backgrounds “they” can’t dehumanize others as easily. We know better.

The privilege was being born a boy. Applied and affected most, all be it in diff ways. I’m the only girl between brothers. They got away with everything (still do🤨). The adage and double standard originates from religious beliefs.

Historically, especially white men(esp the wealthy) got away with everything. And you’re right, PoC were unfairly treated. Many WP were silent and/or ignorant, less so today. Hopefully nonexistent in the future 🫱🏻🫲🏿

That’s the whole point. ALL boys should be held accountable for their actions. Women and girls too for that matter. Shouldn’t matter if you’re rich/poor, black/white, boy/girl.

Varies between provinces 🤔 I’m in Québec, my mom had a stroke, received daily physio while in hospital and was later transferred to a rehab centre for 9 months. Now home, she has a care worker 5 days a week for 4-8hrs per day. All free!

Now certain claims are handled by the civil judicial system. Which hopefully will improve the situation and minimize corruption, covering up and normalizing abusive behaviour.

For about a decade our Canadian Armed Forces have been trying to weed out the “corrupt” and holding them accountable. It started bc of sexual assault charges. Which were previously swept under the rug and the victim being ostracized/punished. A major problem was the independent military judiciary.
