Never a bigger betrayal in grad school than when I was reading through the citations of one article to find other authors and authorities on the subject (as I was taught in my history degree) and my ed research professor told me to stop and asked me why I was wasting time on something so ridiculous

Crying because NPR has no federal funding as of today and they’re reporting anyway and it’s giving Stephen Colbert post-cancelation 😭😭

Stayed up too late working on the lake vacay (1am) and all beds were taken. So, I did the sensible thing and took the hide-a-bed couch cushions (someone else is using the bed), my pillow, and a spare beach towel and made a pretty darn comfy floor mat but I just know I’ll get clowned in the morning 😂

Thinking a lot today about that girl in one of my political science classes who brought a real ceramic mug of black coffee to every 9:05 class, never spilled it, always looked immaculate, and casually admitted to waking up every day at 5am because she liked it. I wonder how she’s doing now 🤔

After the wildest parade of POVs ever in 10 chapters… you’re gonna add a new villain, nullify an old villain, kill someone, give us a *beautiful* kiss, smash it to bits, add in a deranged fire mage, and then vanish into the abyss of acknowledgments? That’s so cruel??

As someone who perpetually feels like they’re “too much” to deal with… I can certify as a fellow “overstimulating-to-bystanders” individual that Nico de Varona is too many things at once to be considered a person
