It makes me so fucking mad that there was a right wing conspiracy theory that Biden’s FEMA was denying funds to North Carolina and then Trump gets into office and actually does it and…mostly silence.

Trump did not get more voters because he spelled out what he was going to do. His campaign was high on vibes & inflammatory statements. Even if this overused theory of why Kamala didn't win is true, then why is it not true for a Republican or for any person who isn't straight & white & angry?

Apologies, but I'm just tired of this same old post mortem. People want easy answers that rarely work in reality, no one wants to hear policy because policy solutions are HARD. Republicans get away with lying because they are not held accountable to admit that their "solutions" do not work.

Animal shelters across the country are already overfull and underfunded, with lower adoptions since COVID. This is just another example of the heartlessness and ignorance of this administration. Republicans are the most short sighted people on the planet. They never think about real consequences.

Many shelters offer pet food pantries as part of their pet retention programs to keep pets out of the shelter, and this (efforts to keep pets in their homes) is a growing practice that benefits the pets and their families. Many shelters are rebranding as resource centers to highlight these efforts.
