Unpopular Opinion: Diesel 10 is one of the worst post season 4 characters created for the franchise.
I never understood why people hype up Diesel 10 the way they do. His claw would make him far too tall for the British loading gauge and even if you removed it, he wouldn't even be scary, he'd just be another rude mainland diesel. I also take issue with why Topham would bring a diesel like him to his railway, remeber Topham sent 98462 and 87546 away for bad behavior, he sent Diesel away for spreading lies about Duck, D261 and D199 were sent away for their bad behavior. now look at Diesel 10, in TATMR he shows up with no explanation, causes confusion and delay and ends up falling into a rubbish barge like Wile E Coyote. The real problem with Diesel 10 is that he doesn't fit the Thomas franchise, a franchise that never needed villains and the steam vs diesel rivalry only gets worse the more antagonistic diesels they introduced. TATMR Diesel 10 is just a one dimensional cartoon villain. Calling All Engines is no better because Diesel 10 just shows up out of nowhere, in Day Of The Diesels he has a convoluted plan and finally in the missing Christmas decorations, he is just the grinch. Diesel 10 doesn't work in any canon without massively changing hi to the point where he isn't Diesel 10. In conclusion, I don't find Diesel 10 the best Thomas villan because he is just not scary nor does he actually leave an impact, its shocking how a non sentient boulder was more scary than a diesel with a claw.

Unpopular Opinion: Billy the orange engine is an overhated character.
Billy the orange engine is a very overhated and underrated character, I never understood why people would villanize him or make Sir Topham Hatt send him away, If we go by the TVS lore, Topham has given Diesel, 'Arry and Bert MANY chances for their bad behavior. why wouldn't he do the same for Billy, its not like Billy tried to spread lies about Thomas or murder him. Besides, on paper, Billy sound like a very interesting idea and he fits seamlessly well into the lore of the railway series.
