A new female Warhammer fan posted on Reddit asking if it’s ok to put female heads on space marines, got a ton of hate comments that it’s against the lore and to stop forcing their tourist changes on a hobby. I wonder if the same ppl will call this person a tourist for their awesome dog marine too 🤔

Got some kickstarter rewards in. New Guinea Campaign Vol. 1 - Australian Infantry and United Empire- Human Auxiliaries. So far happy with both, the Aux had a couple of broken guns but superglue fixed that. I’ll paint the Aussies as a present for my dad and I just liked the Aux as truescale humies
Was gonna ignore Warhammer Heroes series 6 cause box doesn’t guarantee all the models like previous space marine heroes boxes did, but then found on Reddit people reported the unique codes, and was able to find all but the sergeant. Will paint as my custom chapter (&ordered the sarg from a reseller)

Finally had time to finish my Warhammer 40K Thousand Sons Rubric Marines, inspired by a couple of users on Reddit. Took a lot of testing and mistakes and guesswork but I’m happy with how my ghost boys turned out 👻

Instead of doing the sensible thing & working on my 30K Salamanders I decided to try painting some Thousand Sons using a ghost scheme I saw on Reddit. Really happy with the results, except the Mordant Earth didn’t really work, I guess I need to put it on thicker. Oops. (My first try with it)

New Sicarius is fine, looks good. BUT NEW CALGAR? WHY? Absolutely ridiculous. GW actively killing off other big name character models but releases a SECOND Primaris Calgar? I only got him last year from Imperium magazine! No wonder people are flocking to 3D printing, GW has completely lost the plot.

Working on my first Warhammer Horus Heresy era Salmanders. These freaking left shoulder pauldrons and their damned studs are just horrible to paint lol 😭 I might just have to offend the cranky old fans and slap regular shoulder pads on them going forward, I hate these so much

Was keen on starting Kill Team with the Tomb World box for solo play but then saw the price, holy shit. Half the minis of 40K starter for almost twice the price, and half the minis are warriors I already have tons of from 9th edition starter/Imperium mag… KT keeps doing its best to keep me out of it

The big chain store Yodobashi had a 1/customer rule (they are constantly being drained of Gunpla stock by tourists) but the nearby bookstore had tons so I got 3 more to make custom minis

Gundam Assemble isn’t out till 2026 so I was surprised to see on r/Battletech that the minis have been released via the card game! I didn’t realise since they’re sold in the card game section, not the hobby section in Japan. Picked up two today, will get the others later. The plastic feels gunpla-y
