The more I get used to using the Shavian alphabet, the more I realize just how much more sense it makes for English. Like, it's genuinely so superior to Latin letters for English.

An unrealistic UX goal of mine is to redesign ADP, one of the most prevalent yet horribly-designed pieces of software in existence.

Well, it looks like this has general support with one dissent. I think we should try it. If you’re open to spelling suggestions in Shavian put #𐑣𐑬𐑟𐑥𐑲𐑕𐑐𐑧𐑤𐑦𐑙 in the message or your profile. I ask that nobody ‘correct’ any replies to my posts that lack this tag, and will pin a message to this effect.

I don't believe that people are averse to change as a whole; they're averse to cons outweighing pros, the distribution of which is not always clear in advance.

The first thing you learn in UX design is how important it is to understand what users actually want and need from a product. I'm hearing a lot about what #TheBrowserCompany thinks #Dia should be, but they haven't talked about the research they've done to arrive at these design decisions.
