Spent the day around the downtown area of Seattle and checked out the Space Needle. This is my third time up in my life and it’s always a treat to be able to see the city and surrounding area from that far up.

Made it to Seattle a few hours ago. Got a hotel pretty close to the Space Needle so I’m gonna be going there tomorrow. And since I’m downtown, I might see if I can get around without driving for the next few days.

On the road to Seattle. Stopped by one of my favorite scenic spots on the way. I think the fog does something for the view of the Columbia River.

Car got fixed up earlier today and I managed to get back on the road 5 and a half hours ago. Repair bill came out to about $2300 because there were a few other things wrong with the car besides the front suspension! My mood got instantly better when I got a huckleberry shake!

Went to a reptile garden before heading back on the road this morning. Easily the best choice I could have made today! I took a lot of pictures but these were a few of my favorites.

Well I’m at the point in my road trip where there are long stretches of absolutely N O T H I N G while driving save for the interesting thing every 50 or miles. This is a picture of one of them.

Settled into my next hotel room. The room listing said it was a suite but holy crap I was not expecting it to be the size of a small cozy apartment! Easily the biggest one of my trip so far AND it was a great deal (about $120 after tax)

At the next hotel on my road trip. The TV in this room is mounted to the wall above a wardrobe so I can’t hook the Switch 2 up to it. Luckily I have a solution for things like this…

Set up in Des Moines for the night. Bought the new Hyrule Warriors earlier today and played it for a bit. Pretty fun so far! The TV in this room is 4K too so I was able to experience that for the first time too!

Brought my Switch 2 dock with me on this road trip so I can hook up to any hotel TVs. I also brought my entire physical library so I am not gonna be bored.

Picture’s from Sunday but I’m getting new tires for my car today because of an air bubble. I decided to just get a new set. Currently at a nearby gas station while I wait for Discount Tire to put them on. Should be all good to go for the start of my road trip tomorrow.

All torn down! The IKEA desk and legs are the only ones coming with me. The desk in the corner isn’t getting sold or given to someone in the neighborhood.

Got a text stating my new glasses were ready to pick up! Honestly they look and feel great! Considering I had my previous set for 8 years, these are a breath of fresh air!

I think I need a new wind sock for my microphone. I was wiping what looked like a bit of dust off of it and it began to fall apart when I touched it. In fairness this is the same one I’ve used since I got the mic…7 years ago. …Yeah I’m gonna buy a new one tomorrow.

Car acquired! It's not the ideal one I was hoping for but after test driving it, it handles super decently! Sometime down the road I'm probably gonna get a modern infotainment system installed but regular bluetooth is perfect for now.

PS4 was REALLY dusty but I managed to wipe it down and get it packed up. And since it's packed up, I have no use for the display shelf I had set up next to my desk. Everything else I had on that shelf now sits on a simple side table!
