Imagine a group petitioning for the right to destroy the planet. Sadly, given this court, it will probably be granted just like they have pretty much sanctioned destroying our democracy with Citizens United and free speech.

Or you'll do what, Chuck? Actually, as an Iowan, I think farmers have gone amok with pesticide use. And their current fertilizer practices have resulted in the pollutants in our water nearly doubling in the last 50 years.

I don't have a problem with him in winter coat and scarf, I've just never seen a scarf draped like that. It looks like a bib, or something you would pull up over your face to rob a bank. Usually with a scarf you see two lengths of cloth, not something pulled up like a blanket.

I can't fault her for that. Most of us tend to take unused vacation time etc into consideration when leaving a job if it's close. Not as if there are that many days left when you throw in their Thanksgiving and XMAS etc leave. One would be a fool not to stick out another handful of days.

She does know first hand how crazy-violent some of that MAGA base is and I don't blame her. Of course, she played a huge role at one time stirring the pot and aiming those same people at others. Also, she made a fortune this year in the market with the heads up on all that on/off tariff BS.

They take a two month vacation and the week they come back they have time to vote on crap like this??? How about trying to solve health care, or starting work on the next budget so it's done by a deadline. Or taking back control of the purse and other congressional duties.

Oh god, I'd forgotten all about seams! Not my era, but when I was little I remember my mom asking if her seams were straight when she was dressed to go out. I was pre pantyhose tho, back when you wore garter belts lol!

I see my counseling degree has made the list. I'm retired, but worked long and hard for those degrees, jumping through plenty of hoops for licensures and certifications, and somehow it wasn't really a profession? Good thing we don't have a problem with mental health in this country.

Yes, endless wars worked so well for us in the Middle East. Why do these people think we are entitled to the natural resources of other countries? Enough of this bullying the world. We haven't paid for the last several wars we engaged in; enough!

I don't understand why Trump is involved in negotiations. Our government support of Ukraine pretty much ended when Biden left office. Trump is not the leader of the free world, he is a corrupt, bumbling fool with dementia. Putin has made clear all the former SSRs are at risk if he's not stopped.
