Rooting for science and democracy. Go, Webb!
He clearly wasn’t decisive enough on the border. But to my knowledge, he kept most Trump policies in place and didn’t really open the gates. The surge was mostly caused by the (end of the) pandemic and other events in Latin America. By the end of his term, crossings had fallen to below Trump levels.

His other job was to honor his promise to pass the baton after his first term.

It isn’t really. Women are allowed to compete in all tournaments. Occasionally (e.g., national championships), there’s a separate women-only tournament.

Usually they aren’t separated, and if they are, women are always allowed to play in men’s (actually called “open”) tournaments. Sometimes (e.g., national championships, professional chess) it makes sense to have separate tournaments because women’s level is lower.

The first leading chess engine that used AI was AlphaZero in 2017.

What do you mean by “near Turing complete”? It takes very little for a language to be Turing complete. Like many other config langs, Pkl is Turing complete. Safety is achieved through type checking, enforceable timeouts, deterministic execution, etc.
What “daily frustrations” have you experienced?

Two lost jets, two other mishaps.

Four mishaps but “only” two lost jets.

Thanks for the clarification!

Not generally true. But there are specialized businesses that will try to break into your phone for $$$.

Don’t think this will work for Apple devices. FaceID is a 3D scan.
April 18, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Isn’t the 6 digit password still present and sufficient even if FaceID is enabled?

He’s lost weight due to Ozempic.

Does/will this also work for Truffle interpreters?

I guess they mean 20 years starting from 2010.

What makes you think that Graysky doesn’t get updates anymore? I do see some recent releases and GitHub activity.

From Trump’s perspective, the most promising way to get a good deal for himself is to put maximum pressure on the weakest link. He’s also had a personal feud with Zelensky since 2020 and isn’t aligned with him ideologically (staunch defender of rule-based order who opposes imperialistic ambitions).

The simple explanation is that Trump wants to be America’s Putin.
March 5, 2025 at 6:53 PM
Trump doesn’t work for Putin. He admires Putin and considers him an ally. Trumpism has a lot in common with Putinism.

Kotlin offers many Lombok features for free. kotlinx.serialization offers better serialization.

By propping up an insufficiently expressive language. Replacing Java with Kotlin is a step in the right direction.

It was a secret up to this point.

Definitely possible, but I think pcf isn’t (yet?) a well-defined format. It’s more like pkl’s debug output.
