Seems reasonable lol

I mean the only good to come of these things would be the clips of the rights pundits being destroyed by real journalist. Even that though isn’t worth the spectacle and propaganda it will generate on the right.

Need to rally this podcast for a webby even if there isn’t a category.

I need to find the paperwork but I think $65k before tax credit. 2024 Flash.
December 17, 2025 at 5:29 AM
I didn’t spend nearly $100k for mine.

It’s is scale problem, that was moving in the right direction with the infrastructure bill. More battery plants, more money for charging infrastructure, and more incentives to transition electric. China is showing there is a market for EV and we are going to suffer as they become the global leader.
December 16, 2025 at 7:12 PM
I would agree with you but it’s also the same conundrum as ICE truck with towing.

I was referring to the quickness, cheap fuel, and freedom people want but they are so blinded by some perceived culture war they can’t admit they like it. Also the price but that’s a solved problem in china.

Its me having dumb autocorrect or fat fingers, should be BEV (battery EV)
December 16, 2025 at 7:02 PM
That cross section of the anti EV crowd continuously perplexes me because it’s everything they actually want but they are told it’s too “woke” 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Also I think it’s any easy thing for Ford to cut because how easily it is for them to turn the manufacturing to ICE F150s and print money.

I don’t dislike EREV, I think it should be an option next to BAEV, I’m more bummed because it seemed like the admin killed it more than demand really did. Love municipality use of the lightning (perfect scenario for it) and I wish Ford pushed a Maverick or Ranger BAEV.

I tried to get solar by eoy and was late to the party. I’m still getting call promising they could do it by eoy or that the have a loophole for the tax money. Going to be a lot of disappointed customers with a large bill.
December 16, 2025 at 3:37 PM
I own one & I love it, I disagree that it was a dumb idea. You get all the benefits of the f150 system but it’s electric. Someone clips your mirror you don’t have to buy a special one, just get the cheap one that’s on the best selling truck. Great platform, hopefully the EREV doesn’t stray too far.
December 16, 2025 at 3:23 PM
As a lightning owner this is disappointing. At least the EREV will be around and ford will have a lot of the infrastructure in place and ready when we decide to wake up and go electric.

Going to be a real reckoning with American automakers when Chinese EVs are the only game in town…

I agree, only had so many characters. I feel like it’s obvious there is a problem with overburdensome regulation that can be weaponized by NIMBYs and the like to keep the status quo. Like I said in another response I don’t think we can accomplish big problems without admitting that is a real problem
November 19, 2025 at 9:05 PM
What I was talking about is that clearly the regulations have been abused and we should have the ability to make big things again. I don’t think you can pull off big progressive projects without seeing that problem solved.
November 19, 2025 at 9:03 PM
I think both can be true, we should make policy for the good of everyone & not let corruption dictate policy, but I think his “vibes” are right because no one cares who wrote the old policy & it’s too big of a lift to try to educate everyone why it’s bad, we just need to do better this time around.

They have had their chance, they wielded power and decided to enrich themselves instead of doing what they promised. It’s time for them to sit down and shut up.
November 12, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Idk, I think a lot of people are going to remember and continue to remind people as often as possible. At least on my end this has radicalized me to do whatever I can to get neolibs voted out at every level.

Pundits get it off of Bluesky and in front of more Americans. Not the endgame just the start
