I don’t get the pandering to the far right by someone of an ethnic background. People are of course free to have whatever politics they like but many of the Reform supporters will happily turn on them. I’m a white middle aged male and I “pass” in their eyes so I get the hear what they really think

To be fair the NHS aren’t offering them jobs or training places so they have no choice but to go. For anyone paying attention this is the major cause of the doctors strikes, not the pay. That’s what the RW press wants you to think.

To be fair Starmer showed the way on this with the Kings golden fair ground ride in his back garden but it also points to the futility of this approach. Short term glow of appreciation followed by unpredictable petulance.

That sounds like a great idea. It could be funded with a small fee like fishing licenses which run at around £35pa.

Industrial shed roofs too. On google earth zoom into any light grey area and chances are it will be an industrial shed roof, acres of them! Some, a small %, have solar panels but nowhere near enough and all connectable to the grid.
