Thanks for the generous offer!

It's the time & money it takes to not only acquire the figures, but also to scan each of them (each takes *at minimum* 30 minutes to scan, process, & upload). I could so easily overextend myself & burn out if I scanned toys in general instead of just video game merch.

Thanks for the tip! I was unaware of this. I think this would be a good one to scan then since it's specifically for the game. The rest of MIMP is a toy line that they happened to make a game about, which falls outside the scope of the project.

Thanks again!

One of the (many) things I love about the work you do is that you not only meticulously recover and preserve this data, but you also put in the time and energy to get it all compiling and usable again, either in its original development environment, or a modern equivalent. Great work as always!

Put aside the store owner. Become the Bulborb you were born to be.

The crude and strange paint jobs I did for these figures (lower image) are based on how they were painted in the mini book that was originally included with them (upper image).

Big thanks to Wacky Kaiyama for photo reference of the mini book.

Each Mysterious Mario Bros. keshi is a direct parody of an actual official Super Mario Bros. keshi that was released by other companies.

This is a "I know a guy who knows a guy" situation, but I worked with a guy who previously worked at Silicon Knights. One day he found an N64 dev cart of Eternal Darkness tucked in the back of his desk, and he *sob* returned it to the owner of the studio. 😭

It's beautiful! Probably my favorite piece of licensed Zelda 1 art. Great to see it restored using all of our individual pieces.
