Today I share my birthday wall! I realized over the years the simple joy high school kids get when an adult remembers their birthday. So this year, it's up on the wall and they get a pencil and a card on their big day. Canva designs in replies below.

Today was my 24th first day of school with students! I love my job. #Teach180 #iteachmath
This year I have 3 AP Calc BC's, 1 Multi variable Calc, and 1 cotaught geometry.
AP Calc had their first flipped lessons video for HW tonight. I'm looking forward to going back to flipped classroom.

Last week in calculus 3 we used multiple integrals to find mass and center of mass. Then we balanced a region on pencils. It was awesome.

This is my favorite calculus 3 teaching tool of all time. Relative max, min, and a saddle. And retrievable tangent planes, aka post its. I can even draw on VVFs to talk about limits, paths, gradients. #iteachmath #edusky
