For me, Team Sonic takes is here. World is a fantastic game in its own right, but Crossworlds is jam packed with customization and unlockables. Can’t wait for the Switch 2 upgrade in a few weeks!

Quackshot was a random rental that turned into a weekly/bi-weekly rental (whenever my parents would let me rent a game). Eventually received it as a birthday gift and is one of my favorite games to this day.

My newest pickups - reprints of Snow Bros for Genesis and Game Boy from @limitedrungames.com. Always been a fan of this series and I’m happy for its resurgence in recent years.

Happy (belated) 15th anniversary Super Meat Boy! This was the game that opened my eyes to the indies. And the soundtrack! The original Xbox 360 OST by Danny Baranowsky is one of my fave game soundtracks ever.

Another awesome Sega collectible for the game room. Opens up for a nice display of characters throughout Sega’s history. Now to track down the other cartridge displays to complete the set!

Wouldn’t say I’m done with this one, but the credits rolled, so it goes on the list. Great game, best soundtrack in the series, and the 24 player races is chaotic mayhem!

I was out in Chicago for Combo Breaker last weekend - had a great time! Didn’t take many pics, but I got a few of the arcade cabs I ran all weekend!

5. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Yet another fantastic entry in the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. I a was a a little skeptical on becoming a pirate in this game, but it’s a blast - and loved pro wrestler Samoa Joe’s in came character being a large part of the story.

I got these guys out of storage recently - I bought these at Media Play (Google it) in the late 90s and haven’t listened to them much since. There was a slipcase with this set, but that’s all but gone now.

1. Death Stranding
I bought this game at launch on PS4 and fell off quickly. Upgraded to PS5 Director’s Cut and tried it again. This time it stuck. It’s like a chill transporting sim with a crazy sci-fi story. Ending is a doozy. Highly recommended.
