This 6 year old cutie pie was in the shelter for 6 months. We named him Igmu (The Lakota word for cat). We adopted him after losing one of our other cats. His adoption fee was sponsored but we paid it forward and sponsored whoever was the next longest tenured kitty in the joint. 🐾💙🐾

This is Daryl. Last August, he snuck out of the house with the dogs and in a few wild moments of chaos, he scaled the fence and ran off into the woods. We never saw him again. Not having closure has been torture. 🐾💔🐾
