I did a research project on this last year (all claimed as opposed to scientifically measured) and it showed that 40% of people who had used the drugs and stopped had either got back to their pre-drug weight or had gained more. Not a long-term fix.

I’m sure they’re a great quick fix, but if you’re reliant on them for a long period,you’re leaving yourself open to big price rises (all very Black Mirror) and there’s no evidence that they’re safe in the long-run. I’d err towards making lifestyle changes first.

Indeed they do. I had to fish one out of our youngest son’s mouth on his first birthday.
